History

1980-87
During a few turbulent years and even more owners, she finally ends up in The Netherlands where she becomes a ”floating casino” although she never leaves the dock.

April 1987
”Märtha” is bought by Magellan Cruise Ltd and departs for Falmouth in England. She is to be repaired and fitted for a new expose in the Caribbean. The crossing took 44 hours with a top speed of 9.8 knots. This would be the last time her old diesel engines were running… The Caribbean affair ended in a fiasco and by 1992 she was left rusting in Falmouth.

April 2000
Now, after twenty six years, “Kronprinsesse Martha” has her maiden name back. She is going through a careful renovation where efforts are made to capture the atmosphere of glory days. We hope You have a pleasant stay with us and the “Old gal”, “Marhta”!
