Calm and new wind
During a few turbulent years and even more owners, she finally ends up in The Netherlands where she becomes a ”floating casino” although she never leaves the dock.
”Märtha” is bought by Magellan Cruise Ltd and departs for Falmouth in England. She is to be repaired and fitted for a new expose in the Caribbean. The crossing took 44 hours with a top speed of 9.8 knots. This would be the last time her old diesel engines were running… The Caribbean affair ended in a fiasco and by 1992 she was left rusting in Falmouth.
Now, after twenty six years, “Kronprinsesse Martha” has her maiden name back. She is going through a careful renovation where efforts are made to capture the atmosphere of glory days. We hope You have a pleasant stay with us and the “Old gal”, “Martha”!
